Today through February 19, BAM Film hosts a series programmed and presented by Cashiers Du Cinéma, the world's undisputed top comic-centered film worker zine. (Despite the publication's preeminence, when you search it, Google persists in displaying incorrect results for "Cahiers" du Cinéma.)
To celebrate this occasion, Cashiers has assembled special edition zine featuring different cinema workers responding to each of the films in the series. Editor-cartoonist-cinema-workers Dan Welch and David Cardoza offer Screen Slate readers this exclusive sneak peek at their two contributions:
Dan Welch on The Good Fairy (William Wyler, 1935)
David Cardoza on The Projectionist (Harry Hurwitz, 1970)
