Wednesday, the Stanford begins to wrap its Summer of Marilyn with an opposing double bill of her last two feature films, George Cukor's bubbly Let's Make Love and John Huston's misery-laden The Misfits (both on 35mm, repeating Thursday), the Grand Lake presents Harold Lloyd's Safety Last (plus a cartoon and a Chaplin short) with a new live score, queer comics doc No Straight Lines is at BAMPFA as part of Made in Berkeley: The House That Zaentz Built, Clint Eastwood's The Rookie (on 35mm) is at the Drafthouse NM, Michal Mann's Manhunter moves to the Balboa, , Drunken Noodles gets one last screening and Martin Scorsese's After Hours gets a reprise at the Roxie, and Blade Runner 2049 is at the Landmark Opera Plaza.
