Just in time for back to school season, the Quad Cinema presents a darker, more unsettling side of adolescence. From suburban disillusionment to repression, alienation, and sudden violence, this film series will challenge the romanticized image of youth and instead confront the anxieties and fractures beneath it. Featuring some of our greatest directors (Gregg Araki, Sofia Coppola, Gus Van Sant) and some of our brightest stars in all their youthful glory (Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Josh Hartnett), this is Teenage Malady.
