"Qubit is proud to present Peripheral Visions, an experimental film festival showcasing innovative and immersive film and media work by over 25 artists from around the world. Experience mind-bending visuals, rapid-fire montage, disintegrating film strips, flickering fabrics, mysterious Christmas trees and much much more on April 20th and 21st at Project Q: 1850 Amsterdam Ave. Featuring the New York premieres of films by Kevin Jerome Everson (US), Michael Flemming (Netherlands), iloobia (UK), and Ryan Ferko (Canada), the world premiere of a new film by Zach Hart, and special screenings of films by Laure Prouvost and Abigail Child; more than 40 films will be shown over five screenings exploring themes of sequence, rhythm, space, and texture."
