The Quad is kicking off its post-hiatus repertory programming with a six-part ode to New York City. Over the course of an extended Memorial Day weekend, “A New York State of Mind” celebrates the city that never sleeps with classic films from a wide variety of genres and spanning multiple decades and boroughs, even stretching to New Jersey. Titles include Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing and Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut as well as a 60th-anniversary screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and new 4K restorations of Funny Girl, Ghostbusters, and On the Waterfront.
