Harold Faltermeyer’s synth scores have become iconic, including the character theme “Axel F” for BEVERLY HILLS COP, as well as the “Top Gun Anthem.” Well suited for action movies, his soundtracks were a perfect compliment for a decade of testosterone-fueled performances.
