On February 17th, 1976, the most iconic Best Picture lineup was announced. The nominees were: BARRY LYNDON, DOG DAY AFTERNOON, JAWS, NASHVILLE and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST.
As all of these films also celebrate their 50th anniversaries, we celebrate this perfect lineup that will likely never happen again, with BEST PICTURE, 1975.
