Screen Slate’s LA Detox 16mm Mystery Screening

Screen Slate’s Jon Dieringer, returning from a West Coast research and fact-finding mission, heads directly to Low Cinema to spiritually cleanse with a mystery 16mm screening. The 87-minute film was shot on location across Burbank, Malibu, and Pomona. Its director boasts that it predicted the invention of punk and school shootings. The print is in immaculate condition.

It will possibly be preceded by Craig Baldwin’s severely sliced-and-diced personal 16mm print of Alexander Hammid’s short child psychology film “Angry Boy,” pending whether it is able to make it through the projector.
